We spent several days in the region of the "Go" Road in Del Norte County. This area starts near the Smith River with the Road heading south towards Humboldt County. It is a beautiful paved, wide road that eventually comes to a dead end. It was originally intended as a through road to Orleans but a court order stopped its completion. This is a great route to access the Siskiyou Wilderness Area and some of the most remote area of California, and, a great region to research Bigfoot.
